International Shooting Committee

(ISSA Shooting Committee)

Shooting is recognised as a structured competitive sport that combines precision, discipline, focus, and technical skill. Within the framework of the International Special Sports Association (ISSA), the sport of Shooting is coordinated under the International Shooting Committee as a recognised discipline.

The ISSA Shooting Committee is established to support the orderly development of Shooting at international and regional levels, while promoting technical consistency, fair competition, and adherence to recognised standards of governance and sportsmanship.

The Committee’s scope includes the coordination of competitions, promotion of educational and training initiatives, facilitation of knowledge exchange, and cooperation with relevant national and regional sporting organisations.

All activities are conducted in alignment with ISSA’s Statutes, internal policies, and principles of good governance. The ISSA framework ensures institutional coherence while respecting the technical and organisational autonomy of recognised member bodies.

Through its coordinating role, ISSA contributes to the sustainable and professional development of Shooting as an international sport within a transparent, impartial, and structured governance environment
