Membership in ISSA
Membership in the International Special Sports Association (ISSA) is open to eligible national federations, associations, and officially recognised sports organisations that share ISSA’s commitment to good governance, institutional integrity, and the sustainable development of sport.
ISSA membership is institution-based and aims to foster structured international cooperation, coordination of activities, and alignment with recognised international standards. Member organisations participate in ISSA’s institutional framework while retaining their full legal, technical, and administrative autonomy.
Admission to membership follows a transparent and structured procedure in accordance with the ISSA Statutes. An initial Expression of Interest (EOI) serves as the first step, followed by a formal review and decision by the ISSA Executive Board.
Membership Fee
In accordance with the ISSA Statutes and internal regulations, member organisations are subject to an annual membership fee.
The current annual membership fee is EUR 60 per member organisation.
Specific details regarding payment procedures and timelines are communicated to the applicant organisation following official confirmation of membership.
