7. What sports disciplines does ISSA cover?
ISSA organises and supports specialised and inclusive sports disciplines through dedicated commissions, including but not limited to:
Blind and Visually Impaired Go (Weiqi / Igo / Baduk)
Inclusive Orienteering
Additional disciplines may be recognised in accordance with ISSA regulations.
8. Does ISSA replace existing federations?
No. ISSA does not replace or compete with existing federations. It functions as a complementary and coordinating body, respecting the autonomy of national and international organisations.
9. How is ISSA governed?
ISSA is governed by its General Assembly and Board in accordance with its statutes, internal regulations, and principles of good governance, transparency, and accountability.
10. How are financial matters handled?
All financial matters are reviewed and approved through established internal procedures. ISSA operates transparently, and financial oversight mechanisms are applied in line with non-profit standards.
11. Does ISSA organise competitions?
ISSA supports and coordinates activities through its commissions. Competitions and programmes are organised in cooperation with relevant national and regional bodies.
12. How can organisations cooperate with ISSA?
