The International Special Sports Association (ISSA) is a non-profit international organisation dedicated to the development, recognition, and sustainable growth of special and inclusive sports disciplines.

ISSA works to support athletes, federations, and practitioners by promoting fair governance, education, and international cooperation. The Association provides a neutral platform for knowledge exchange, capacity building, and the organisation of educational and developmental programmes aligned with international standards.

Our community consists of national and regional associations, professionals, and stakeholders committed to accessibility, integrity, and equal opportunity in sport. ISSA operates independently and transparently, with decisions guided by good governance principles and respect for cultural and organisational diversity.

Through cooperation rather than competition with existing structures, ISSA seeks to contribute positively to the global sports ecosystem and to create long-term value for its members and
